Subaru Wilderness :: 1982 Subaru Brat Camper
About the 1982 Subaru Brat Camper:
San Francisco-based artist Jay Nelson took this incredibly clean 1982 Brat and turned it into a small camper with a pop-up. The interior space features sleeping for three, and the rising roof made from repurposed sails provide for some actually quite cozy living space. For those chilly nights, a small wood stove provides heat. While the 73hp motor manages to get the camper up to speed reasonably well, it is reported that the weight of the camper takes a quite expected toll on the brakes.
